Stefanie M. Best
President and Treasurer Ms. Best is the owner and director of the Allen Conservatory of Dance,
which donates rehearsal space to Allen Civic Ballet. She holds an M.A. in Dance
from the University of Houston, has danced two seasons with the Dallas Opera and
ten seasons with Krassovska Ballet Jeunesse.
Her experience includes roles in such ballets
as Nutcracker, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Giselle, Paquita, Chopiniana, and
Pas de Quatre.
Mary Muller
Vice President
Ms. Muller has a degree in dance from Texas Christian University and briefly pursued
a professional dance career. She has danced with Joan Karff's New Dance Group,
Ballet San Jacinto and Ballet Dallas.
Michelle Blum-Schuetz
Secretary
Ms. Schuetz moved to Dallas in 1982 to study with Nathalie Krassovska and attend
Arts Magnet High School for the Performing and Visual Arts. She has studied with
Marina Svetlova, Richard England, Jacques D'Amboise, Jerry Bywaters-Cochran and
the late Robert Joffrey.
Ms. Schuetz performed in many ballets,
including Statues, a role given to her by Jetec Kasamon, the World Premiere
of Valery Panov's Giselle, Don Quixote, Flower Festival, Pas
de Quatre, Nutcracker, Chopiniana and Coppelia.
